San Remo! I’m jet setting a bit. Exploring loads of wonderful places and meeting strange and very interesting people. Took the train to San Remo, armed with my trusty business cards and my faith in the universe and co-creation. It’s definitely time to find a job now!

After a long 3 hour train ride (lucky for my Italian language tapes)(Si). I did the dock walk and enjoyed the magnificent atmosphere of the place. Got to talk to a few yachties, but not many. After a brief lunch I was off to the beach for a swim. Found a beach with sand! Extremely unusual in Italy. I think they bring the sand in every year at a cost so they charge you 3 Euros to use the beach, but it was worth every cent. Cool water, hot sun and a deck chair to sleep on. Nice!

Managed to do 5 minutes work later in the day and got my first pay – 4 warm beers! Yip helped an English lady of load her delivery van onto one of the Super Yachts. Met the Chief Stewardess, Trevor (no she is a she!), and she gave me some really good advice of where to go and get work and a South African contact in Cannes. So I might be off there soon. It’s time for a little adventure into France……
