Had the tastiest pawpaw I’ve ever eaten the other day. Margot and I were taking a short cut home the other day when we passed a pawpaw tree full of fruit. We helped ourselves to a couple of the ripe ones, overnight in the fridge and the next morning were dining on ripe, fresh pawpaws. These are slightly smaller than the ones back home. About the size of a large mango. You just cut in half, scoop out the pips and dig in with a spoon. Yum. I’ve collected a few more and these are ripening on our kitchen counter. Hmm what should I have for breakfast today?
